Okehampton Argyle 9-0 Cullompton

Steve kinsey opened the scoring on ten minutes when the Cullompton keeper palmed a harmless looking cross into hi path. This was shortly followed by a Robert Sandercock screamer from 25 yards that the keeper could not hold on to, and Adam Mortimer was on hand to score from close range. Steve Williams scored Argyle's third with a cleanly struck shot on 20 minutes.
Argyle's fourth came from a slick move when Robbie Miller won a header in the middle of the park, which was quickly played through by Kinsey to leave Mortimer with just the keeper to beat. Adam obliged by calmly findinig the corner of the net. On the Stroke of half time Steve Kinsey completed Argyle's first half rout when he found some space inside the Cullompton area.
Cullompton refused to be beaten and put up a spirited fight in the first quarter of the second half, but Argyle's defence was very determined to keep a clean sheet and this they managed comfortably playing the ball out to their midfield with ease. Argyle then opened their second half account when a well worked corner between Robert Sandercock and Steve Kinsey caught the Cullompton defence cold, allowing central defender Tim Williams to get on the scoresheet.
With 30 minutes remaining Argyle decided that it would be a good time to allow everyone a run out and made 3 substitutes. Argyle's seventh came when Adam Mortimer found himself with time to wait for the arrival of substitute Stuart Cann to score. Micheal Vernon popped up on the right wing to loft in a croos for Adam Mortimer to complete his hat-trick, and finally it was Stuart Cann who picked out Mortimer with a superb pin point cross to complete the scoring for Argyle.
